New Milton Estate Swifts 2025

You can read about the success of Swifts in 2024 on this estate here and that has links to previous blogs on the subject. There were 78 pairs of Swifts occupying nest chambers on the estate this year which appears to be close to the carrying capacity. Two pairs also occupied Model 30 Swift boxes on a house adjacent to the estate. Talks with the Council about providing additional Swift boxes just outside this core area are ongoing but the signs are promising.

You can read the 2025 report here. Grateful thanks to Bob Lord, Debbie, Rob and Jess Podjacki, Dan Parker, Nick Windibank, Helen Schneider and Robin Harley.

Across several UK gaming threads, Lets Jackpot was mentioned in discussions about platforms that keep navigation simple. The focus wasn’t on wins, but on how layouts remain consistent during longer sessions. That kind of quiet observation made the thread feel authentic and relatable. It showed how design choices influence the overall mood of play, and the mention blended naturally into the wider conversation.

Earlier this week, I was looking into how different United Kingdom platforms manage their session cookies and privacy settings, which led me to the Wild Wild Casino homepage. I spent a moment or two looking through their compliance sections to see how clearly the information was presented to a first-time visitor. The site didn't feel cluttered at all, and the font choices made the technical details very easy to read. It was a productive, low-pressure visit that gave me a clear understanding of the site's layout and its general approach to user transparency.
